INSPIRING growth and BUILDING community through compassionate, intuitive movement

Solua dance (journey)

was created from the discovery of ecstatic dance as a spiritual practice. This evolved into the more deeply intuitive movement medicine which then became intertwined with the study of the medicine wheel. It is deeply rooted into the practice of Qigong, sound frequency healing, and the body’s self healing powers. The term Solua combines the word for sun “sol” and moon “lua”, a Brazilian Portuguese nod to the nondual nature of our sacred existence.

Solua Dance is a way to connect to our innate and deeply natural instinct to commune with God or Source. It is a practice for people who wish to explore transcendence and a passion for consciousness navigation and elevation. It benefits people moving stagnant energy, at times dense in nature.

Solua Dance is a somatic embodiment practice that allows people to access the deep wisdom of the body, memories, and emotions. Participants may also receive visions and guidance. This shamanic study of movement facilitates self-discovery and healing. Dancers explore individual freedom along with group unity and community connection.

Working with movement as medicine is a commitment to personal growth: It is an agreement to being fully alive, to keep showing up, and to be who you are in order to share your gifts.

Traditionally, ecstatic mystics follow their inner calling and act as conduits to help people grow, heal, awaken and enlighten. These journeys are not only revelations of the spirit, but movements in the evolution of humanity.
